Cleared IT Project Manager

Our Lab Partners division is currently seeking a Cleared IT Project Manager to support a critical software effort for the National Nuclear Security Administration (NNSA) near Albuquerque, NM. Active DOE Q or Top-Secret Clearance is required.
This is a full-time, permanent position that requires on-site work 2-3 days per month near Albuquerque, NM.

Position Overview:
The IT Project Manager will be supporting a software development and support contract for the Department of Energy. This hybrid role requires monthly onsite presence in Albuquerque, NM to engage with the project team and stakeholders within DOE and NNSA. Responsibilities include; coordinating planning, resource management, agile delivery, and reporting in collaboration with DOE/NNSA IT and cybersecurity stakeholders.
Job Responsibilities:
- Serve as the lead interface to the contracting officer and integrated project team.
- Manage and report on all contract-related activities, including coordination with NA-IM operations, cyber divisions, and DOE’s IT services.
- Participate in bi-weekly team meetings and stakeholder demos.
- Deliver sprint-end reports, summarizing completed product backlog items, bugs, and resource usage.
- Provide status updates and summary reports as requested.
- Maintain consistent report formats approved by the contracting office
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Information Systems or a related IT discipline
- 15 years of experience in IT, with at least 5 years leading cross-functional software teams in support of DOE or NNSA
- Direct experience with agile software development and agile project leadership
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Proven ability to meet deadlines and manage pressure in a high-stakes environment
- Familiarity with DOE and NNSA IT policies, programs, and procedures
- Active DOE Q or Top Secret Clearance is required. This requires US Citizenship.
Preferred Qualifications:
- PMP, Agile, or SAFe for Government certifications
- Experience supporting DOE or NNSA Personnel Vetting programs
- Demonstrated involvement with organizations accredited at CMMI Level 3 or higher
- Experience leading or maintaining CMMI Level 3 accreditation
