Warehouse Coordinator

Overview

The successful candidate will be able to provide facility wide inventory, material and supplies support for all facility locations. They will participate in the warehouse operations and activities of the Materials Department.

Functional Description

• Receive, pull, audit and deliver warehouse materials via ERP like-system generated OMF’s, DRP’s and internal transfer tickets with complete accuracy
• Receive, unpack, verify and record incoming materials / supplies per Company procedures using applicable forms
• Put-away, transfer and store materials / supplies following Company procedures
• Assemble, address, stamp and ship materials / supplies per Company procedures
• May assist in loading / unloading of materials / supplies for inbound / outbound shipments
• Complete all required paperwork per Department work instructions and procedures accurately and timely
• Assure materials / supplies and warehouse facilities are maintained in a safe, clean and orderly condition. Participate in daily 6-S activities and hold responsibility for defined area completing required process paperwork as defined
• Prepare various materials for transfer to point of use ensuring packaging standards are followed.  Ensure all materials are always handled in a safe manner to minimize risk to personnel or materials
• Pick up and deliver materials / supplies utilizing warehouse equipment (forklifts, scissor-lifts, floor jacks, etc.), hand tools, safety harness’ as required
• Perform accurate cycle counts of materials in stock
• May communicate with various Company personnel to provide and receive information, resolve questions and issues, and coordinate activities with Lead Warehouse Coordinator and / or Supervisor
• May operate a computer to review inventory or drawing information
• Participate in annual inventory
