What are the responsibilities and job description for the Experienced Bartender position at Cafe O'Lei Restaurants?
Join us at Cafe O'Lei at The Plantation! We're looking for an experienced bartender to join our team! Experience in craft cocktails and high volume restaurants is a PLUS! Work in a team to service our busy restaurant during happy hour and dinner shifts (2:30pm-9pm). This is a part time position and requires weekend availability there may be a possibility to expand to full time with benefits.
Compensation is minimum wage tip out. Bartenders take a section too so you must be comfortable taking tables. Tips are paid out daily!

Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional customer service by engaging with patrons and ensuring their satisfaction.
- Prepare and serve a variety of cocktails and beverages, adhering to recipes and presentation standards.
- Operate the Toast POS system efficiently for order processing and payment transactions.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff and other team members to enhance the dining experience.
- Manage inventory and assist in ordering supplies as needed.
Qualifications
- Proven bartending experience with a strong focus on cocktail preparation and presentation
- Proficient in using POS systems, Toast system preferred
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Knowledge of food safety and handling practices
- Ability to manage time effectively and collaborate
- Basic math skills for cash handling and transactions
