Duties

- Develop and manage event budgets, ensuring all expenditures are tracked and reported accurately.
- Negotiate contracts with vendors, venues, and suppliers to secure the best rates and services.
- Implement effective marketing strategies to promote events and drive attendance through various channels.
- Upsell additional services or packages to clients to enhance their event experience.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure seamless execution of events from start to finish.
- Provide exceptional customer service throughout the planning process and during events.
- Manage time effectively to meet deadlines while maintaining high-quality standards in event execution.
- Oversee banquet operations, ensuring that all food and beverage services meet client specifications.
- Engage in fundraising activities when necessary to support organizational goals.
Requirements
- Proven experience in event planning or management is preferred.
- Strong negotiation skills with the ability to secure favorable contracts.
