Graphic Designer Job Description
We are looking for a creative Graphic Designer to join our team at Cal Spas. The responsibilities of a Graphic Designer include creating designs according to specifications, reporting to the Senior Graphic Designer and Marketing Manager, and improving design tasks.
To be successful as a Graphic Designer at Cal Spas, you should have original ideas and have a keen eye for detail. Ultimately, a successful Graphic Designer should be able to create imaginative designs, be open to learning more and create impressive designs that promote the company’s vision.
Graphic Designer Responsibilities:
Understanding project requirements and ideas.
Using graphic techniques to create drafts.
Producing logos, banners, and interfaces.
Pitching creative concepts.
Collaborating with the team to launch projects.
Using feedback from other designers and call service managers to improve.
Collaborating and brainstorming with the creative team to define design briefs and requirements.
Researching concepts, designs, reference material, and similar work.
Rendering and presenting design mockups for revision and feedback.
Implementing feedback revision and creating final designs for print and web.
Reviewing and proofreading designs to ensure that copy, layout, and dimensions are print-ready.
Overseeing the printing process to ensure color quality and consistency.
Requirements
Up to 1 year of working experience as a Graphic Designer.
Experience with design software and graphics editing software, such as Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Word, Excel, and Powerpoint Knowledge of design techniques, such as Typography and Layout.
Ability to work well within a team.
Time management skills.
A talent for creativity and problem-solving.
Experience in producing a range of printed materials including catalogs, brochures, and newsletters.
BSc/BA in Design or a related field
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
Willingness to learn new design software and techniques.
