Responsibilities
- Oversight of accounting and financial functions within the Treasurer’s office.
- Supervision of fiscal team and leadership of cashiers, including backup to the fiscal specialist.
- Approval of revenue processing and ensuring compliance with regulations of the County, State and Federal Government. Responsible for the timely disbursement of tax collections, fees, and fines. Voids receipts and processes NSF’s with the bank.
Qualifications
- Minimum requirement of an Associate Degree in accounting with knowledge of governmental fund accounting.
- Supervisory skills for managing daily operations.
- 2-4 years of professional experience in accounting and banking, preferably in government or non-profit settings.
