Job Summary:
The Warehouse Associate will work under the direct guidance of the Warehouse Supervisor, Warehouse Lead and the direction of SOP's. The Warehouse Associate will be in charge of day-to-day operations including, but not limited to pulling orders, staging product for shipment, preparing orders for shipment and consolidating product..
Duties:
- Broad knowledge of RF-Smart *WMS) or other WMS system and scanning functions.
- Follows the standard operating procedures (SOP).
- Follows warehouse process and procedures.
- Pick orders, stage and package orders for shipment and wrap orders for shipment.
- Broad knowledge of material handling and order picking processes.
- Ensures SAFE and proper operation of all MHE.
- Adheres to Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) safety regulations..
- Ability to maintain a clean work environment.
- Install protective devices, such as bracing, padding or corner boards to prevent shifting or damage to items being transported.
Education & Experience:
- Must have 6 months of previous Warehouse experience
- Must have 6 months of previous forklift experience.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to operate a electric pallet jack/reach truck/cherry picker.
- Ability to demonstrate problem-solving skills.
- Ability to lift more than 50 pounds.
