We are currently seeking a Shipping Clerk add to our Warehouse team. The primary responsibility for this role is to prepare outgoing shipments, organize warehouse inventory, maintain warehouse cleanliness, and communicate within the shipping team. Accuracy is vital in this role to ensure the right items are picked, the correct lot numbers are assigned, and the order is fulfilled within service level agreement time.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the shipment of products, materials, and supplies
- Prepare customer orders for shipment. This may require packaging, lifting of items, operation of a forklift, or setting up/wrapping of pallets
- Maintain the warehouse cleanliness through organizing, cleaning, and sorting of products; including annual warehouse cleaning project
- Accurately pick and label items with the correct lot numbers utilizing FEFO (First Expired, First Out)
- Replenishment of mix and ancillary pick bins
- Labeling of products as needed during replenishment
- Process USPS mail and packages
- Loading of LTL trucks
- Engage with vendors and drivers with a positive attitude
- Provide additional backup support for other areas within the warehouse
- Perform daily cleaning activities to support sanitation operator as needed
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED preferred
- Able to work independently and within a team
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Attention to detail
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to stand for a prolonged period of time
- Ability to use equipment and retrieve products from high shelf racking
- Knowledge of SQF a plus
