We are seeking a highly motivated Financial Analyst to join our FP&A team within a dynamic and fast-paced Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) environment. This role offers the opportunity to play a key part in driving financial visibility, supporting strategic planning, and enabling data-driven decision making across the business. You will report directly to the Senior Manager, FP&A and work closely with cross-functional teams including Sales, Marketing, and Operations.
Responsibilities:
- Leverage financial and operational data to uncover business trends, highlight potential risks, and identify growth opportunities
- Create and maintain reporting and dashboards that are actionable for Senior Leadership
- Support the new product development process by providing financial insights and cost comparisons against our existing product portfolio
- Support the UK business segment with forecasting, reporting, and analysis to drive performance in an international market
- Collaborate with FP&A and cross-functional teams to enhance reporting and support forecasting efforts through detailed spend analysis and data-driven insights.
- Assist in the preparation of the annual operating plans in line with the strategic direction of the company
- Contribute to ongoing improvements in financial systems, processes, and automation initiatives
- Build cross-functional partnerships and act as a trusted financial resource
- Support ad-hoc financial analysis and special projects as needed
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a highly analytical field required with 1-3 years of relevant business experience
- Experience in manufacturing/CPG is a plus
- Strong proficiency in Excel (modeling, pivot tables, lookups), PowerPoint, and other MS applications
- Excellent analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to translate large amounts of data into useful information and actionable priorities
- Strong communication and presentation skills with ability to present complex financial analyses clearly and concisely
- Proven ability to meet tight deadlines and prioritize workload
