What are the responsibilities and job description for the IT Tester position at California Creative Solutions Inc.?
Responsibilities :
- Primarily serves as a quality assurance software tester
- Reviewing requirements and / or user stories to develop and execute test cases, scenarios and / or scripts
- Document and report test outcomes, including logging bugs or defects
- Develop a test plan, monitor and report progress, and identify and manage dependencies
- Testing all aspects of application components for compliance with the provided specifications and user stories. Ex : usability, functionality, exploratory, system, smoke, monkey, and compatibility testing
- Coordinate test activities, including technical and security testing, with other team members and OTS verticals
- Provide technical / non-technical knowledge transfer of testing processes.
- Develop and / or assist with project work plans, timelines, status reports, release notes, and other documentation; disseminate information as needed.
- Participates in all necessary team meetings and design sessions in accordance with Scrum ceremonies.
