Responsibilities:
- Perform analysis on a policy issue.
- Independently gather and evaluate information on an assigned project.
- Showcase findings and make recommendations.
- Attend staff meetings, lectures, and hearings.
- Interact and network with fellow interns.
- Effectively communicate both verbally and in writing.
- Prepare oral presentations, memos, reports, issue papers, or articles for internal and external audiences.
Minimum Qualifications
Registration as a graduate student in a college or university of recognized standing. (Persons appointed during the summer months must produce evidence of eligibility for such registration in the following enrollment period.) This is a non-testing classification, therefore anyone meeting the minimum qualifications listed on the classification specification may apply for this position.
