Job Description And Duties Under the close supervision of the Staff Services Manager I (SSM I) of the Program Eligibility and Protective Supervision (PEPS) Unit, the Associate Governmental Program Analyst (AGPA) performs analytical duties related to developing policies and procedures for the IHSS programs. The main areas of responsibility for performing these duties are applying policy, statute and regulations to program eligibility and protective supervision for applicants/recipients in the IHSS programs.

Special Requirements Please Note: A Statement of Qualifications or Supplemental Questionnaire must be submitted along with your application in order to be considered for this position.

Applicants must submit a document entitled, “Statement of Qualifications (SOQ).” Your SOQ must address the responsibilities of the position including all relevant experience and education. Applications without a SOQ, or a SOQ which is not responsive to the requirements of the position will not be considered. Only the most qualified will be interviewed. The SOQ must be no more than two pages in length, size 12-point Arial font.

Training and Development assignments may be considered based on the availability of eligible candidates and are subject to approval by the Hiring Authority prior to appointment. Training and Development assignments are temporary in nature and shall not exceed twenty-four (24) months.

Candidates who reside outside of the State of California may be admitted to the job interview, but they must provide proof of residence in California prior to being eligible for appointment.
