We are a leading Ophthalmology practice in Gilroy, looking for a Medical Assistant / Ophthalmic Technician who thrives in a fast paced, highly detail-oriented team environment and knows how to "WOW" with patient care.

The candidate must be able to prioritize, have common sense and the ability to multi task.

We use the latest and technically accurate equipment and techniques to ensure the highest quality outcomes for our patients’ eye care. And we are looking for caring, committed people on our team to ensure the best possible care for our patients.

Under the supervision of the physician and medical staff, the Ophthalmic Technician performs technical duties. Perform an array of measurements and ophthalmic testing as requested by the physician and medical staff.

Duties include:
- Obtaining patient history, patient work ups, visual acuities, IOP testing, auto refractor, OCTs, Visual Fields, Fundus imaging, and other diagnostic testing.
- Surgical assist with in-office minor procedures
- Pre-op and post-op instructions

Required experience: experience working in a medical practice is MANDATORY so please do not apply if you do not have this experience. Benefits offered for full-time position. Compensation is commensurate with skills and experience. Submit resume

Pay: $44,000.00 - $52,000.00 per year
