Full Job Description

Responsibilities include:

-Teaching a 2:00-2:30 minute routine comprised of tumbling, stunts, jumps, pyramid, and dance.

-Teaching and spotting new skills such as tumbling and jumps.

-Attending local competitions

-Attending travel competitions (out of state)

-Leading practices twice a week for 1.5-2 hours per practice

-Attend monthly coaches meetings

-Teach additional cheerleading and tumbling classes

Requirements:

-Create a coach profile on the USASF (United States All Star Federation)

-Pass a background check ($40)

-Become SafeSport Trained

-Pass the USASF baseline coaching course

-Prior Cheerleading experience (preferably competitive or all star)

-2 years Coaching Experience

-Knowledge of the USASF rules and tiers or willing to learn the USASF rules and tiers

-Experience with children

We will provide you with two t-shirts, a coaches bag, and jacket as well as cover your USASF membership fee. Once you are a member through the USASF you will have the opportunity to take courses toward becoming USASF coach certified in building and tumbling.

Experience:

coaching: 2 years (Preferred)
cheerleading: 2 years (Required)
Spot and teach gymnastics/tumbling for all levels

Schedule:

Monday to Friday
Minimum of 10 hours per week
Select Weekends required

We offer a number of recreational programs including boys and girls recreational levels programs in cheer, gymnastics, tumbling, and dance. During the summer, we offer summer camps and team training for school cheer programs. We also offer birthday parties for your child's special day.

Our Cheer Gym is centrally located in Dublin, CA and has the most modern equipment to provide the safety and success of gymnastics and cheer instruction. We are home to All Star Cheerleaders from all over the Tri-Valley; Danville, Dublin, Castro Valley, Livermore, Hayward, Pleasanton, Livermore, Pleasanton, Fremont, Alameda, Oakland, San Leandro, San Ramon, Lafayette, Orinda, Walnut Creek, Patterson, Tracy and more!

Employment

California Spirit Elite always accepts applications for multiple positions within our gym. These are full or part-time positions with pay depending on experience, credentials, demonstrated skills and responsibilities assigned. CPR & First Aid certification, full criminal background check, and full reference check are required prior to acceptance of employment with California Spirit Elite.
