Job Description And Duties
With general direction provided by the Accounting Administrator I (Supervisor), the Accounting Analyst (AA) performs professional accounting duties related to the maintenance and management of securities escheated to the State Controller’s Office (SCO), Unclaimed Property Division (UPD). The incumbent will perform accounting duties and maintain records related to the Securities Remit Report processing and Securities Portfolio Management and will be responsible for working with internal and external resources to resolve securities related issues, pursuant to the Unclaimed Property Law and Regulations. Research and analysis is required and all historical documents may not be readily available to the SCO. Incumbent must be able to contact internal and external resources and provide recommendations to management for resolving securities related issues.
