What are the responsibilities and job description for the Attorney position at Callagy Law?
We are looking to add an associate to our thriving Workers Compensation department, which fights to recover millions of dollars each year from insurance companies for New Jersey’s doctors and healthcare providers
Job Duties
- Attend virtual and in person hearings in the Worker's Compensation Court
- Schedule and attend settlement conferences
- Negotiate settlements
- Case management and communication with opposing Counsel and Clients
- Review and approve draft motions and correspondence prepared by the support team
Requirements:
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school
- NJ Bar License
- Experience in Worker's Comp, PIP, or experience with medical offices or billing a plus
- Must be communicative, collaborative, and able to maintain organization of a voluminous caseload
Position is hybrid, in person/remote; some in office presence may be required up to 2 days a week.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $75,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
