Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and organized Host to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, setting the tone for their dining experience. Your primary responsibility will be to greet guests warmly, manage reservations, and ensure a smooth flow of service. Duties
- Greet guests upon arrival with a warm and welcoming demeanor.
- Manage the seating chart and coordinate seating arrangements to optimize flow and efficiency.
- Handle reservations and walk-in guests with professionalism and courtesy.
- Provide guests with menus and inform them of daily specials or promotions.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host station and lobby area.
- Communicate effectively with servers, kitchen staff, and management to ensure guest satisfaction.
- Address guest inquiries or concerns promptly and courteously, enhancing their overall experience.
Experience
- Previous experience in guest relations or customer service is preferred, however, training is available for the right person.
- Strong communication skills and phone etiquette are essential for this role.
- A background in food service or hospitality is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude.
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as required by the business needs.
