What are the responsibilities and job description for the Driver position at CalMed Transport?
Duties:
- Safely operate a vehicle with passenger/s
- Follow assigned routes and schedules for timely drop offs/pick ups
- Ensure all drop offs/pick ups are accurately recorded and signed for by the recipient
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and team members
Skills:
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Previous experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role a plus
- Ability to safely operate vehicles of various sizes
- Proficient in using GPS navigation systems and route planning software
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to handle physical demands of the job
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
