Qualifications/Experience:
Experience in culinary arts, including hands-on kitchen experience and management.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities Needed:
In-depth understanding of current culinary trends, techniques, and food safety standards.
Enthusiasm for mentoring and inspiring students interested in the culinary field.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Ability to assist the Advisor in developing and implementing lesson plans and training programs.

Specific Tasks:
Assisting the ProStart Advisor.
ProStart is a two-year, industry-backed culinary arts and restaurant management program for high school students. The program reaches approximately 145,000 students in nearly 1,800 schools in all 50 states. ProStart is taught with a two-level curriculum that: Integrates practical skill sets, Allows students to become familiar with restaurants and foodservice, exposes students to innovative career opportunities and provides tools and skills needed to become a successful industry leader.
