Medical Assistant
Camden Dermatology & Mohs Surgery is recruiting for a full time Medical Assistant. This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing, team oriented office which places a premium on integrity and creating a positive patient experience. Primary duties include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Direct patient care, room patients and assist with managing patient flow
- Assist with in office surgery/procedures
- Use advanced EMR system to document all clinical information
- Keep exam/treatment rooms organized and fully stocked
- Help with prescription orders/refills and prior authorizations
- Administrative support such as scheduling and backup phone
Requirements:
- Must display a high level of confidentiality, initiative and teamwork along with a willingness to learn
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Excellent computer skills, experience with EMR’s and MAC helpful
- Physical requirements include assisting patients as well as occasional moderate heavy lifting (max 40 lbs)
