Job Description: Optometrist
Camden Family Health, a federally qualified health center, is seeking a full-time Optometrist to join our existing practice in Summersville, WV. The ideal candidate will have a Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree from an accredited optometry program, an active WV optometry license, and a valid CPR certificate.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive eye exams and vision tests
- Determine visual acuity and prescribe corrective lenses
- Diagnose and treat eye diseases and conditions
- Provide pre- and post-operative care for patients undergoing eye surgery
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
Requirements:
- Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree from an accredited optometry program
- Active WV optometry license
- Valid CPR certificate
