Duties:
- Provide excellent customer service by greeting and assisting customers in a friendly and professional manner.
- Take customer orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring all special requests and dietary restrictions are noted.
- Prepare food items according to established recipes and portion control guidelines.
- Handle food safely and maintain proper food handling procedures to ensure food quality and safety.
- Operate kitchen equipment such as grills, fryers, and ovens to cook and prepare food items.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the kitchen and dining area.
- Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently using a cash register or point-of-sale (POS) system.
- Perform basic math calculations to calculate order totals, make change, and reconcile cash drawer.
- Assist with inventory management by monitoring stock levels, restocking supplies, and notifying management of any shortages or discrepancies.
Requirements:
- Previous customer service experience is preferred.
- Knowledge of basic food preparation techniques and kitchen equipment operation is a plus.
- Familiarity with food safety regulations and procedures is required.
- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Strong communication skills to interact with customers in a friendly and professional manner.
- Basic math skills to perform calculations for order totals, change, and cash drawer reconciliation.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Flexibility to work various shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
