Veterinary Receptionist – Part-Time

Camelot Animal Hospital and Boarding Kennel is looking for an energetic and dependable part-time receptionist to join our team serving a small animal general practice and ophthalmology specialty practice. If you’re looking for the opportunity to broaden your skills with a variety of daily challenges, this position would be a great fit. We’re located in Davie, Florida 20 minutes west of Ft. Lauderdale’s beach. Our property is a National Wildlife Federation “Certified Wildlife Habitat” – a beautiful and peaceful environment in which to work.

If you know how to wow clients with excellent customer service and you have superb computer skills, we are willing to train you on the skills unique to running the front desk of our veterinary hospital. Our ideal candidate:

Responsibilities include:

· Greet clients and pets.

· Provide client education.

· Answer phones.

· Confirm appointments.

· Check patients in and out.

· Prepare medical charts.

· Perform end-of-day closing.

· Answer email inquiries.

· Attend to a wide variety of client service requests.

Candidates must be able to lift up to 40 lbs. without assistance and must have reliable transportation. Pre-employment background and reference checks are required.
