Description
Camelot Community Care's Pinellas Child Protection Team (CPT) is seeking a part time support staff to assist our medical and coordination staff. Tasks will be in the context of services provided at CPT, which include forensic medical examinations, interviews, court activities, and sexual assault medical examinations.
Specific duties include:
- Managing electronic files.
- Managing spreadsheets and documentation needed for billing.
- Requesting medical records.
- Assisting APRNs during medical evaluations, i.e. measuring height/weight and taking notes.
- Replenishing clinic supplies.
- Assisting medical staff in gathering of evidence for rape kits, blood draws and cultures/labs.
- All other duties as assigned.
Candidates for this position will need to be comfortable working with children, exhibit empathy, show discretion with sensitive information, and be comfortable working with victims of abuse and neglect.
Qualifications
This position requires the following skills and certifications:
- Certified Medical Assistant with 2 years of experience in a medical practice.
- Pediatric experience a plus.
- Ability to pass a level II background screening and drug test.
- Strong computer skills including use of Microsoft office product.
- Must be detail-oriented and able to prioritize tasks.
Salary : $19 - $20
