Job Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Driver to join our team. As a Driver, you will be responsible for safely transporting goods and passengers to their destinations. This position requires excellent communication skills, a valid driver's license, and the ability to operate various types of vehicles.
Duties:
- Safely operate a variety of vehicles, including dump trucks, buses, shuttle vans, and tractor-trailers
- Load and unload cargo or passengers as required
- Follow all traffic laws and regulations to ensure safe transportation
- Communicate effectively with passengers, clients, and team members
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure proper functioning
- Adhere to company policies and procedures regarding vehicle maintenance and cleanliness
- Provide exceptional customer service to all passengers
Experience:
- Previous experience in driving roles such as dump truck operation, heavy equipment operation, moving services, yard jockey, bus driving, paratransit, shuttle driving, or tractor-trailer operation is preferred
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with passengers and team members
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Ability to lift and carry heavy items when necessary
