Our camp offers a variety of activities, such as swimming, hiking, arts and crafts, and more, to help our campers develop their skills, confidence, and friendships. Camp Cook Job Description

Job Summary: Camp Cook (HOH) is responsible for preparing and serving nutritious meals to campers and staff. This role requires creativity, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Help plan and prepare meals for happy campers.
• Ensure meals meet nutritional standards and accommodate special dietary needs (e.g., gluten-free, vegetarian).
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation in the kitchen and food preparation areas.
• Follow state health department regulations for safe food handling.
• Assist in menu planning and rotating stock.
• Keep accurate records of food inventory and meal preparation.

Qualifications:

• Experience cooking and serving large quantities of food.
• Knowledge of food allergies and food-related diseases.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Clean criminal background check.
• Physical ability to lift and carry heavy objects, stand for long periods of time.

Camp Champions Dining Hall Front of House (FOH) Job Description

Job Summary: The Dining Hall Front of House (FOH) staff is responsible for ensuring a smooth and enjoyable dining experience for campers and staff. This role involves assisting with food service and maintaining a clean and welcoming environment.

Responsibilities:

• Greet campers and staff as they enter the dining hall.
• Assist with food service, including serving meals and managing serving lines.
• Ensure dining areas are clean and well-maintained.
• Set up and break down dining areas for each meal, including arranging tables, chairs, and serving stations.
• Monitor the dining hall during meals to ensure an orderly atmosphere.
• Assist with special dietary needs and accommodate food allergies.
• Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure food is served on time and in an appealing manner.
• Maintain records of meal counts and any incidents.
• Assist with the organization of themed meals and special events.

Camp Champions Kitchen Steward Job Description

Job Summary: The Kitchen Steward is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and organization in the camp kitchen and dining areas. This role involves supporting the kitchen staff, ensuring proper sanitation, and managing kitchen supplies.

Responsibilities:

• Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, utensils, and work surfaces.
• Wash dishes, pots, and pans used in meal preparation.
• Keep the kitchen and dining areas clean and orderly.
• Assist with food preparation as needed.
• Ensure proper storage of food and kitchen supplies.
• Dispose of trash and maintain a clean garbage area.
• Follow state health department regulations for safe food handling.
• Assist in receiving and storing food deliveries.
• Monitor inventory levels and report when supplies need to be replenished.
• Help set up and break down dining areas for meals and special events.

Qualifications:

• Attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Physical ability to lift and carry heavy objects, stand for long periods, and work in extreme heat.
