Position Summary:
Provides early intervention and family service coordination to infants, toddlers, and preschool children, birth to age three, and their families while adhering to the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA). Provides high quality early education, child development services, and family support that promote children's cognitive, social, and emotional growth. Visits families in the home to promote secure parent-child relationships and helps parents provide high quality early learning experiences.
Pay Grade: 108
Qualifications
Required Education and Experience • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in Early Childhood Special Education or a related field • One (1) to three (3) years of experience in education • Any equivalent combination of training, education, and experience that provides the required skills, knowledge and abilities
Special Requirements
• Required Licenses or Certifications • Class C driver's license • Professional Teaching Standards Board Certificate
