The Janitor is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, sanitation, and overall appearance of the condominium’s common areas. This role ensures a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for residents, guests, and staff by performing routine and deep-cleaning tasks according to established standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Clean and sanitize common areas including lobbies, hallways, stairwells, elevators, and restrooms
Sweep, mop, vacuum, and polish floors and surfaces
Empty trash and recycling bins and properly dispose of waste
Clean windows, glass doors, and mirrors in common areas
Maintain cleanliness of community rooms, fitness centers, and amenities
Monitor and restock cleaning supplies and paper products
Report maintenance issues, safety hazards, or damages to management or maintenance staff
Follow safety procedures and proper use of cleaning chemicals and equipment
Assist with special cleaning projects, events, or seasonal tasks
Perform light exterior cleaning such as entryways, walkways, and trash areas
