This role requires proficiency in operating machinery and tools while ensuring adherence to safety standards and quality specifications.
Responsibilities
- Excellence in leadership and supervisory skills--are the person who everyone gravitates to for information or to solve a problem --that's who we need for this role.
- Program, operate and maintain CNC milling machines, CNC lathes, and press brake machines. Setting standards high for operators; working with operators to get best productivity plus best practices for the machine.
- You'll gain a mentor in the General Manager and the corporation makes incredibly complex parts for a wide variety of industries including automotive, aerospace, commercial vehicle and more. You won't get bored!
- Perform machining tasks using Haas, Fanuc and other CNC programming software.
- Read blueprints and technical drawings to ensure accurate production and share with operators what to look for; be the specialist who can make everyone better and their jobs much easier!
- Conduct quality control inspections using precision measuring instruments such as calipers and micrometers.
Expertise Needed
- Proven experience in a manufacturing facility or factory setting is essential.
- Familiarity with Haas and similar programming, GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing), and tooling is highly desirable.
