Shop Engineer

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

These are functions a qualified incumbent or applicant must be able to perform with or without reasonable accommodation.

• Handle parts and materials
• Maintain shop inventory system
• Request and verify vendor quotes
• Receive materials and complete Material Receiving Reports (MRRs)
• Verify materials against client specifications, project requirements, and maintain records of Material Test Reports (MTRs)
• Be open and able to travel to project sites to assist in material verification
• Prepare purchase orders to successful vendors
• Review project records; recommend actions to avoid project delays
• Ensure material compliance with appropriate government regulations, safety rules, and company and client standards
• Become an asset for knowledge regarding pipe, fittings, equipment, and material specifications.
• Be willing to travel locally.
  
  

EDUCATION And/or EXPERIENCE

• Bachelors Degree in Engineering or other Technical discipline
• 0-2 year experience in the oil and gas industry, welding, warehouse, construction, or other relevant fields.
• Prior forklift operation experience preferred.
• Valid drivers license required
  
  

Salary: $75K - $85K
