We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented CPA/Accountant to join our dynamic team. This role offers significant growth opportunities, with a pathway to lead and manage an accounting team as the company continues to expand.

The ideal candidate will oversee financial operations, ensure compliance with tax regulations, and provide strategic financial guidance. • CPA certification (required).
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Master’s preferred).
• Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in accounting, preferably in construction or a related industry.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and tax regulations.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite (experience with QuickBooks is a plus).
• Proven leadership skills and a desire to grow into a management role.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset.

• Manage and oversee daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll.
• Prepare accurate financial reports, budgets, and forecasts to guide company decisions.
• Ensure compliance with all state and federal tax regulations, including preparing and filing tax returns.
• Develop and implement internal accounting policies and procedures.
• Collaborate with project managers to track job costs and profitability.
• Provide financial analysis to support company growth.
• Maintain and manage 1099 contractor filings and ensure timely issuance.
• Assist in the establishment of a full accounting division to manage client financials and audits.
• Mentor and train junior staff as the accounting team grows.
• Lead the recruitment and management of an accounting team as the company expands.
