About the Position
As Senior Manager Technology, you will be a leader in the Technology Department and oversee end user technical support, infrastructure operations, and cybersecurity. This position serves as a trusted technology advisor to leadership, as well as a helpdesk escalation point on desktop, server, network, cloud services and mobile device inquiries for the organization’s six campuses nationwide. This position will work closely with the Senior Vice President Technology to make strategic department decisions, manage budgets, and support staff in accordance with the organization’s core values: Teamwork, Compassionate Service, Integrity, Community, Excellence, and Innovation.
A typical day as a Senior Manager Technology may include:

Manage technology helpdesk, ensuring tickets are resolved within established Service Level Agreements and providing coverage as needed (8:30am to 8pm EST)

Supervise infrastructure team members, coordinating helpdesk shifts and travel assignments for onsite technical support requirements (network setup, event audio/visual oversight)

Direct systems administration, including cloud-based environments, complex networking, hardware maintenance, device inventorying, software licensing, and technology accessibility

Lead implementation of cybersecurity projects, allocating team resources and producing reliable timelines for launch

Manage cybersecurity controls, login securitization, and proactive auditing of all technology services. Transition entire organization to single sign-on and multi-factor authentication.

Standardize data backups across all systems, focusing on sustainable retention policies and efficient restoration processes

Develop, maintain, and refine disaster recovery plans, including failover measures, redundancies, and preventative actions

Evaluate, recommend, and implement best-in-class technology solutions, from digital transformation, automations, and threat intelligence
-
Build strong working relationships with technology vendors, actively seeking opportunities for streamlining, cost efficiency, and strategic growth

Track procurement expenses against established budget. Propose procedural improvements to supervisor based on organization productivity needs

Deliver presentations and trainings to staff, management, and business partners when necessary. Communicate ongoing trends in technology operations to leadership team.

Serve as primary emergency backup for Senior Vice President Technology on infrastructure and security matters

EXPECTATIONS:
To be successful in this position:
EXPERIENCE: Six to eight years of infrastructure administration, helpdesk support, and/or cybersecurity work in a multi-unit organization.
Experience with:

At least two years of managing teams

Microsoft: Active Directory, Entra, O365, InTune, Defender, patching and server administration

Networking administration (Ubiquiti)
-
VoIP administration (RingCentral)
-
Virtualization
-
Data backup and storage (Veeam, Veeam Data Cloud)

Audio/Visual and streaming (Extron, Poly, OBS)
-
Competency in Salesforce or other CRM platform desirable
EDUCATION: Bachelor’s degree in an applicable or related field (Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Science), or a combination of education/experience from which comparable knowledge and skills are acquired.
LICENSES: CompTIA A , Network , Security , Azure 104, Cisco/VMWare/JAMF/similar, MSFT Systems

RATE OF PAY:

$90,000-$100,000 per year (California & New York)
-
$76,000-$95,000 per year (Florida, Ohio, Texas)
The base salary range above represents the low and high of the salary range for this position. Actual salaries will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. The range listed is just one component of total compensation package for employees.
