Regional Director of Sales – Southeast Region (TN/GA/KY)
Role Summary
The Regional Director of Sales will lead execution across Tennessee, Georgia and Kentucky with a focus on strategic wholesaler management, account development, and field enablement. This role drives sales strategy at the regional level, aligns budget resources to growth priorities, and partners closely with CMC’s specialized field force to unlock whitespace and deliver disciplined, data-driven expansion reporting to VP of Sales.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Strategy & Budget Ownership
- Localize and activate national sales strategies for market-specific growth
- Forecast, manage, and optimize regional sales budgets aligned to KPIs and promotional windows
- Translate performance targets into tactical sales plans with clear execution milestones & ability to work cross functionally with wholesaler network, third party shared sales representative(s) and retailers to deliver KPIs
Wholesaler Leadership
- Own business planning, KPI alignment, and accountability with regional distributors
- Manage incentive programs and performance reporting with wholesaler partners
Countermeasures Corporation (CMC) Integration & Market Execution
- Lead strategic planning and coordination with CMC’s specialized sales force
- Direct sales activity to target accounts currently selling hemp beverages but not CANN
- Align CMC regional execution with sales goals, reporting cadence, and activation KPIs
Retail & Chain Engagement
- Drive doors (new outlets), Points of Distribution and Display/Feature Execution at retail
- Manage local and regional chain relationships to secure distribution and grow velocity
- Collaborate with Trade Marketing to implement market-level retail programming
Operational Execution
- Ensure documentation and cadence consistency across Google Drive, CRM, and VIP systems
- Maintain territory scorecards, sales pipeline health and performance recaps by state
**Qualifications**
- 5–7 years of experience in beverage, CPG, or adult categories
- Proven track record of retail sales, wholesaler management and regional sales leadership
- Sales planning and budget oversight experience
- Strong analytical skills with VIP and CRM proficiency
- Willingness to travel up to **50%** based on market needs
- Ability to lift and transport up to **50 lbs**
- Preferred: experience managing third-party or specialized field sales teams
