Cannonball is looking for a strategic, data-driven Digital Media Manager to join our growing team. This role is perfect for a passionate digital media professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys optimizing campaigns, and is excited to help craft best-in-class paid media strategies that accomplish business-based outcomes for our clients.

 

You’ll play a key role in a talented team and report directly to the Media Director to plan, execute, manage, and report to clients their paid media campaigns. From tracking assets to analyzing performance and offering actionable insights, your work will directly impact campaign success and our client’s growth.

 

What You’ll Do:

 

  • Launch and manage paid media campaigns across digital and traditional channels
  • Use our project management system and creative asset log to traffic materials both internally and to clients
  • Manage media pixels and ensure campaigns are accurately set up for tracking and measurement.
  • Monitor campaign performance and optimize to exceed benchmarked KPIs.
  • Compile and deliver regular performance reports using tools such as Google Analytics, Looker Studio, and ad server systems.
  • Present campaign results and insights internally and in client-facing reports.
  • Partner with creative and account teams to ensure media strategies align with broader campaign goals.
  • Follow established best practices for consistent, structured media planning, execution, optimizing, and reporting.
  • Work in a hybrid environment while enjoying an autonomous, supportive culture.

 

What’s Required:

 

  • 3 years hands-on experience planning, launching, and managing paid media campaigns across platforms such as Google Ads and social media networks and keyword research, audience segmentation, and targeting strategies to drive campaign performance.
  • Must live in the metro St Louis area and be able to work in the Cannonball office three times per week (or more when necessary). 

 

What You Bring:

 

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides), and industry-standard digital media tools.
  • Skilled in Google Tag Manager, tracking tags, and pixel implementation to ensure accurate measurement and attribution.
  • Strong analytical skills with a proven ability to monitor, report, and optimize campaigns based on KPIs.
  • Adept at managing multiple campaigns, budgets, and timelines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Highly motivated to stay up to date on emerging media trends, technologies, and best practices.

 

Bonus Points for:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience
  • Familiarity with traditional media channels (TV, radio, OOH, print)
  • Experience with DSPs and programmatic buying (StackAdapt & The Trade Desk)
  • Certifications in Google Search, Display, Video, PMax, Meta, & Programmatic DSPs
  • Visualization skills in Looker Studio or similar reporting dashboard
