What are the responsibilities and job description for the End Line Technician position at CANPACK US LLC?
The End Line Technician will maintain, troubleshoot, and repair the mechanical End Line equipment. Essential Functions/Key Deliverables Ensure overall production of machines and quality according to specification sheets. Perform basic repairs on End Line equipment. Check accuracy and quality of finished ends. Locate and clear basic jams that may occur on the machines during production. Correctly read and interpret messages/statuses on the control panels. Assist with regular servicing and problem solving regarding machinery. Actively support the maintenance team during line changeover. Train or assist other employees on the daily practices of production related duties, such as but not limited to, product changes, housekeeping and visual quality checks. Perform any reasonable duties assigned by the management staff, corresponding with the role. Knowledge/Skills/Experience Basic knowledge of the shell press, liners and conversion press. Good Mechanical aptitude is a must. Experience in a Manufacturing facility a plus. Basic knowledge of US measurement. Ability to use calipers and micrometers. Problem solving skills. Ability to organize own work. Basic knowledge of computers. Experience in mechanical maintenance and repair is a plus.
