What are the responsibilities and job description for the Substitute Teacher position at Canton Public Schools?
The Canton Public Schools is looking for dynamic Substitute Teachers that have a love for learning, a passion for education, and hold the values of the Canton Public Schools. Qualified candidates will have a drive to support our schools, our classrooms, our educators and our students. Substitute teachers are an integral part of our school community and are essential staff members that step in for our educators during an absence and continue the fun, excitment and learning for our students.
Position Details
Canton Public Schools is made up of 6 schools; Canton High School, Galvin Middle School, Hansen, JFK and Luce Elementary schools and the Rodman Early Childhood Center. Substitute teachers may have access to one or all of our schools.
Substiute teachers are at-wil employees. Our greatest need is at the middle and high school level so preference for those levels may be available.

Qualified candidates will:

Compensation: $110 per day/$125 DESE certified or previously certified.
