Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated FP&A professional to join our Front Office FP&A team, with primary responsibility for Asset Management and secondary support for other front-office businesses. This role will serve as the finance lead for the Asset Management division, owning P&L oversight, forecasting, and strategic performance analysis, and will work closely with COO teams, Fund Accounting and senior leadership. The position offers exposure to complex business lines, senior executives, and high-visibility projects.
Responsibilities:
- Own and maintain the Asset Management P&L, ensuring accurate monthly close, variance analysis, and reconciliation to GAAP.
- Prepare and deliver recurring financial reports and business performance packs for senior business heads and Finance leadership.
- Analyze revenue drivers (management fees, performance fees) and expense trends; highlight key movements and underlying business factors.
- Partner with Product Control, Corporate Accounting, and Fund Accounting to reconcile results and resolve issues promptly.
- Support periodic budgeting and forecasting cycles, ensuring alignment with corporate targets.
- Develop and enhance reporting tools to improve transparency, efficiency, and analytical capabilities.
- Conduct ad-hoc financial analysis to support business decision-making and strategic initiatives.
- Contribute to special finance projects as assigned by senior management.
Qualifications:
- 5–10 years of progressive experience in FP&A, finance, or accounting, with exposure to Asset Management.
- Bachelor’s degree required; Finance, Accounting, or Economics preferred.
- MBA, CPA or CFA strongly preferred but not required.
- Strong understanding of AUM-based revenue models, performance fees, fund-level expense allocations, and Asset Management industry metrics.
- Proven ability to work with and influence senior stakeholders in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills with the ability to distill complex data into clear insights. Financial services experience preferred.

Salary : $125,000 - $175,000
