What are the responsibilities and job description for the Experienced Dining Room Server position at Cantoro Italian Market & Trattoria?
Seeking responsible, motivated individuals to join our Serving staff.
Our Trattoria is a high volume, upscale restaurant, while our Banquet Facility caters to a variety of upscale events every week. Our culture is rooted deeply in customer service and providing an exceptional dining experience to all guests. We believe that servers are our sales force and we offer an extensive training program in all areas of food and beverage service.
1 year server or banquet serving experience required. The ideal candidate will be presentable, reliable, have good communication skills and demonstrate a high degree of drive and determination. Wine, cocktail skills and knowledge of Italian cuisine helpful, but we will train the right candidate. Pay determined by experience, plus tips.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate exceptional knowledge of the menu, including preparation, ingredients and description.
- Be familiar with wine and cocktail menus including stemware used.
- Organize section for every shift.
- Anticipate and deliver exceptional service consistently.
- Attend departmental meetings and training sessions.
- Perform opening and closing side work duties as assigned by management.
- Assist with Banquet setup and breakdown, including moving tables and chairs, setting tables, and stocking the bar.
- Attention to detail, organization, and cleanliness before, during, and after service.
- We are seeking individuals who can work our lunch shifts which is from 10 am to 3 pm.
