Description
The Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA-C) for Family Medicine is responsible for providing general care to patients under the direction of the Supervising Physician.
Essential Job Functions:
- Assess patient health by performing physical examinations and obtaining, updating, and reviewing medical histories.
- Determine abnormal conditions by administering or ordering diagnostic tests such as x-rays and laboratory studies. Interpret test results of the diagnostic tests.
- Document patient care services by charting in patient and department records.
Requirements
Graduate of an accredited PA or NP educational program, including National Certification and Utah State Licensure.
