Tips: We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician with a minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience* in an industrial manufacturing environment. This position requires a versatile individual with strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills, capable of supporting both preventive maintenance and equipment repairs across the facility.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine and emergency maintenance on manufacturing equipment, tanks, mixers, pumps, compressors, electrical systems, and HVAC.
- Troubleshoot and repair high and low voltage electrical systems, motor controls, and panels.
- Install and maintain process piping (PVC, stainless steel, CPVC, and chemical-grade lines).
- Work with facility utilities including compressed air, water, and chemical process lines.
- Read and interpret technical schematics, P&IDs, and electrical diagrams.
- Ensure all work is done in compliance with OSHA, NFPA, and other regulatory standards.
- Collaborate with the production team to minimize downtime and maintain equipment reliability.
- Maintain accurate records of repairs, inspections, and preventive maintenance
Qualifications
- 3 years of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment (chemical, food, or related industries preferred).
- Strong electrical background – must be confident working with high and low voltage, breakers, panels, sensors.
- Solid mechanical aptitude – pumps, gearboxes, valves, belts, bearings, etc.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work in physically demanding conditions (elevated platforms, confined spaces, etc.).
- Must follow all plant safety and PPE protocols.
