What are the responsibilities and job description for the Kennel Attendant position at Cape Club Canine?
Responsibilities:
- Provide daily care for animals in the kennel, including feeding, watering, and cleaning
- Monitor the health and well-being of animals and report any concerns to the supervisor
- Watch dogs in yard providing a safe and fun socialization environment
- Maintain a clean and sanitary environment in the kennel area
- Bringing dogs in/out to customers and providing excellent customer service
Qualifications:
- Previous experience working with animals, preferably in a kennel or veterinary setting (Not mandatory, but preferred)
- Knowledge of animal care and handling techniques
- Ability to handle dogs of all sizes and temperaments safely and confidently
- Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment
- Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 50 pounds) and physical tasks associated with animal care
- Flexibility to work weekends and occasional holidays
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 35 per week
