Cape Cod CPR has an immaculate 4,000sf facility with two lecture classrooms, six skills labs, a mobile medical simulation ambulance and a cadre of highly-skilled instructors.
EXAMPLES OF DUTIES:
- Develop course syllabus to meet program learning outcomes.
- Develop lesson plans and deliver class instruction.
- Administer, coordinate, score, and record both written and practical exams to meet institution requirements.
- Record and maintain course level student performance and attendance data as per institution requirements.
- Coordinate lab sessions and content to be covered with EMS Lab Instructors.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Demonstrated two years of experience in the delivery of pre-hospital or in hospital emergency care at the appropriate level.
- Current certification as a CPR, First Aid, or EMT instructor
- Current CPR & First Aid Certifications or licensure as an EMT, Paramedic, RN, MD etc.
ADDITIONAL PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience using evidence based strategies to support student success including frequent communication and active learning.
- Teaching experience using on-line learning systems to support and improve instruction.
- AHA Instructor Certification
- Appreciation for and commitment to working in a global, multicultural academic setting.
- Appreciation for and commitment to community medical education and offering the highest quality of instruction.
COMPENSATION :
$18-$30/Hr

The staffing of this position is dependent upon the successful approval of Cape Cod CPR’s application to the Office of Emergency Medical Services and the Department of Public Health. Appointment subject to SORI (Sex Offender Registry Information), Massachusetts CORI (Criminal Offender Record Information) and national background checks.
