Full Job Description
Cape Fear Games in Wilmington, NC is looking for one full or part-time Inventory Associate to join our 40 person strong team. We are located on 4107 Oleander Dr Suite D. Our ideal candidate is attentive, ambitious, and reliable. Pay starts at $12-$13/hr depending on experience.
Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
· Receive, unpack, and process deliveries of board games, miniatures, RPG books, accessories and more.
· Accurately log inventory and restock items to the sales floor in a timely manner
· Maintain organization in the stockroom and ensure proper labeling and storage
· Research new and upcoming products across the tabletop and accessories industry
· Assist in identifying slow-moving or overstocked items
· Collaborate with management to recommend new titles or brands for consideration
· Perform routine inventory audits
We are looking for someone who has/can:
· Previous retail or inventory experience is preferred but not required
· Strong attention to detail and time management skills
· Ability to lift boxes up to 30-50lbs and be on your feet for extended periods of time
· Basic computer skills (familiarity with POS/Inventory systems as well as Microsoft Excel is a plus)
· Interest in board games, RPGs, trading card games, or hobby culture is a plus, but not required
· Self-motivated and comfortable working independently as well as part of a team
