The Role
Cape is looking for a Wireless Network Architect. You'll apply first principles thinking to reimagine perhaps the largest tech sector at the global level-telecom. Telecom was the original social media network, down to collecting and selling vast amounts of customer data.
You'll need the technical background and project management skills to build premium Voice, Messaging and Wireless Data products and services, with a complex array of vendors and technologies, as well as the vision and insight to build new solutions that meet the needs of sophisticated customers and everyday consumers.
This role reports to the Head of Consumer and will be responsible for designing, implementing and managing our voice, messaging, and data products for wireless customers.
Here are some ways you'll make an impact :
- Build, launch and manage high-performing, high quality voice, data, and messaging services on 4G, 5G, and WiFi networks. This includes value added services such as voice mail and spam control, and will require you to manage vendors by specifying configurations, documenting technical specifications, and making architectural decisions.
- Support the launch the first privacy and security-focused telco
- Achieve industry-leading NPS
- Solve hard, novel problems-like how to optimize voice and messaging products and mitigate fraud without tracking or identifying users
- Establish tools, platforms, and processes that makes development easy and fast in support of Agile development

Competencies
The salary range for this role is $160,000-$230,000 a year equity 401K match. Within the range, individual pay is determined by experience, relevant education, and / or training.
