What are the responsibilities and job description for the Director, Major Gifts position at CAPITAL AREA FOOD BANK?
The Director, Major Gifts is a key member of a growing development team and will be integral in the major donor fundraising program for the food bank. The development team is tasked with raising over $30M in annual gift revenue each year and soliciting support for the food bank’s $50M capital campaign. The ideal candidate will have a robust and proven track record designing and executing development strategies for general fund and capital campaigns, and soliciting a number of seven plus figure gifts, in addition to six and five figure gifts. The candidate will have a strong commitment to the mission and values of Capital Area Food Bank.
