Extended School Year - Educational Paraprofessionals & Personal Care Assistants
Salary: $20.26 per hour
Locations: Hill Top Academy (West Shore Location) or West Hanover Elementary (East Shore Location)
Schedule: The ESY Program will be held from July 1, 2025 - August 7, 2025
Individuals available to work all scheduled ESY days and hours are preferred.
ESY Dates are as follows: July 1 - 3
July 8 - 10
July 15 - 17
July 22 - 24
July 29 - 31
August 5 - 7
Staff Hours: 8 AM 12 PM
Student Hours: 8:30 AM 11:30 AM
Purpose of Position: The Capital Area Intermediate Unit is seeking highly motivated Educational Paraprofessional & Personal Care Assistants to work our Extended School Year (ESY) programming. The selected candidates will be working with students in the Multiple Disabilities, Autism Support, Deaf & Hard of Hearing, and Emotional Support Programs.
Knowledge & Requirements: Experience with children with disabilities is preferred; Must possess a high school diploma or GED.
Previous experience working in special education is preferred.
Must have ability to follow written and oral instructions
Highly qualified status preferred.
Salary : $20
