What are the responsibilities and job description for the Loan Processor position at Capital Area Staffing Solutions?
Our client, a well-known and respected Credit Union is seeking an experienced Loan Processor for their full-time, Contract to Hire opening. Position will entail the following:
- Interview/process applicants for all types of loans, including but not limited to consumer, credit card and mortgage.
- Conduct closings and complete post-closing paperwork and all appropriate filings.
- Present completed loan application to a Loan Officer.
- Communicate with members for reasons of approval, denial and counter offers; explore other options.
- Work collectively with the lending dept. on basic consumer collections.
- Collaborate with Management and the lending dept. to provide strategies (i.e. marketing and cross selling) that assist in achieving the objectives of the loan dept.
- Provide high-quality member service
- Other tasks as assigned.

Requirements: Two good employment references; Mature work ethic; Comparable experience; HS Diploma or equivalent; Ability to pass a criminal background and credit check.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 - $16.50 per hour
