What are the responsibilities and job description for the Medical Assistant position at Capital Cardiology Associates?
Capital Cardiology Associates is seeking a Full Time Medical Assistant for our high-volume Cardiology office in our Troy office. CCA is a fast paced Cardiology practice providing a full range of diagnostic, interventional, surgical, therapeutic and preventative services in the treatment of cardiovascular disease to patients throughout the Capital Region.
Position Description: Responsibilities include assisting physicians as they see patients, EKG's, blood pressure, perform vital signs, and other patient related duties. Certificate in Medical Assisting preferred; BLS certification required. Strong cardiac background preferred. Experience with Medical Manager software preferred. Excellent customer service and organizational skills a must. Ability to multi task and work well under pressure, in a team environment.
Minimum Qualification and Experience: Previous experience as a medical assistant, or PCA is preferred but not necessary. Applicants must have good time management skills and be professional and courteous. Willingness to travel amongst CCA sites is a plus.
