As a Solution Engineer Manager, you will build and lead a high-performing team while building and supporting a portfolio of technology products that support Capital’s Retirement Plan Services (RPS) and Capital Bank and Trust business areas. This role works closely with senior business leaders, record keeping vendors and a wide range of IT teams to define strategic vision and execute on technology roadmaps. As the end-to-end solution owner, the Solution Engineer Manager plays a leadership role in solution health, technology innovation, and integration capabilities across vendor and custom applications.

You have a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.- You have at least 12 years of software engineering/architecture experience with expertise in technologies such as Java, ReactJS, REST API services, AWS, and DevSecOps.
- You have at least 8 years of leadership experience acting as a player/coach
- You have proven success building strong stakeholder relationships. Strong ability to learn business, connect dots and apply technologies to enable business
- You have strong ability to share vision and build influence
- You have proven experience developing technology roadmaps and cultivating innovative technology solutions
- You have extensive technology vendor management experience (management of offshore teams a plus). You’ve led technology direction, guidance, and oversight of vendor solutions and ntegrations
