What are the responsibilities and job description for the LPN or GPN (Urgent Care) position at Capital Health Plan?
Location: Metropolitan Blvd
Department: Urgent Care
Work schedule/hours: Three 12 hour rotating shifts per week (including every other weekend, evenings and holidays)
Job Summary:
Assists with providing patients with ready access to Urgent Care for direct patient care, health promotion, disease prevention, and patient education. Assists provider and RN with ensuring the care is patient-centered, team-based, and community-aligned.
Minimum Qualifications:
Florida Board of Nursing status as GPN or LPN
Must obtain a Multistate Nursing License within 3 months of hire or appointment.
Basic Life Support Certification. Must occasionally lift and/or move more than 100 pounds. Ability to learn and use Windows-based software system to document care of members.
